It's 1:15am and I'm back at home after a long day. I got home from the office extremely late last night so I slept in this morning. I spent the rest of the morning working on stuff from home and making calls. Around 2pm I checked the status of my Workshop on my .net site admin panel and to my surprise all but 2 seats had been sold! Thanks to David Jay and the OSP forum, my workshop sold out in less than 48 hours after it was formally released! It was a wonderful surprise! If you were planning on signing up for the workshop the good news is there are still some seats left for my Workshop at the Brooks Institute of Photography.

Around 2:30pm I jumped on the freeway heading out to Marina Del Rey for my good friend Gary Fong's birthday party. I'm sure all of you know Gary because he is a genius wedding photographer who has done amazing things in our industry. Well, I barely made it (lots of traffic) to the marina before the party left on Gary's new yacht for our little sunset cruise up the coast. It was so much fun! Afterwards we went to dinner at Shanghai Reds right in the marina. Check out the group shot from dinner above!

Thanks guys! I'll send out a group email to all the attendees to see if anyone objects to allowing a few more in. It's going to be a blast! So we should do a big slumber party in the mansion, surfing lessons in the mornings followed by breakfast burritos and ms. pacman at Newport Burger, and then poker and movies at night. How's that sound? mc
