Here's the video I showed at WPPI filmed and edited by Jeff at Blue Skies Cinema from the cover shoot for Grace Ormonde. Thanks Jeff!!! You are amazing!! The first part is just voices without video and then the video comes in after about 60 seconds. Check it out!

Wow! Thanks for posting this. I could really use this video for daily inspiration. Man you shoot fast!
mike that's awesome!
Geez, I'm getting tired of laying heaps of praise upon Mike (not!). But I must also add that Mike and the things that he does (along with others at the top of the market) do an immense amount of good in bringing up the entire wedding photography industry. Our craft is elevated by this sort of stuff consequently bringing better photography to brides and forcing us all to become artists and not just vendors. Kudos!
You totally ROCK! This morning I woke up saying to myself ... today I'm going to seek out making someones day .. somehow, someway ... and you MADE mine! This clip is what captures what I love about being a photographer! Truly awesome and inspiring!! I LOVE IT!!! p.s. I'd love to know who the music is by ... I must buy their CD!!!!!!! Thanks so much for making my day!
Mike,
Congratulations, man! That's such a cool and inspiring video. You continue to push the rest of us to become better photographers.
p.s. That model with the curly hair is GORGEOUS!
Magnetic.
I love it, Mike. Thanks for giving me something for my soul, today.

Mike that was sweet. It reminds of a really cool skate video.
When you ask a child what they want to be when they grow up usually you hear, "I wanna be a firefighter! I wanna be an astronaut! I wanna be a doctor!" My answer, even though I'm 28 years young is, "I wanna be a Mike Colon." Thanks, man. You simply rock as one of the few and most inspiring people in my life.
Can I be like mike too? Mike That was really cool. What better way to get inspired than to watch your video clips! I look forward to seeing the next one.
Thanks for all of the super cool comments! I'm glad you enjoyed it!!!
Mike,
I saw this at your presentation at WPPI and could still watch multiple times. What a a great idea to have it filmed. This must have been an absolute blast to shoot. Beautiful Women, Gowns, and Boats, what more could a guy want. Absolutely great results by the way. The pictures in Wedding Style are fabulous. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!

Awesome Mike! Awesome! Just watching you in action makes me miss being around you even more. You have such a quiet, confident presence, and your love for photography shines through as you shoot.
I might have to move to CA just so I can bump into you more often. Aiden and Gabriel would have a riot together.
"p.s. That model with the curly hair is GORGEOUS!"
Um...that was actually me a few pounds lighter when Mike shot me...lol. Just kidding.

Your work is amazing inspiration to both my husband and I. If you ever have the time to check out our website, we had fun with a 10 hour day shoot. The link to the promo video is on our website at www.tjstudios.com. Always open to thoughts and comments.
I have watched this clip a 1000 times, and I still come back to it for inspiration! Its probably one of the best 5 minutes ever recorded!
