How cute! That made my day today. How did he get the shiner? He definately has the Colon touch! Merry Christmas.
Awwwwww. Soooo cute! He's gonna be a triple-threat Mike - photographer, musician, and dancer!!! You're one lucky guy!
Merry Christmas!!!
so precious!!! hehe. miss your fam!
He's a funny kid. Yes Liana.. I think he might be a dancer too! Or at least he won't be the kid leaning against the wall at the school dance, that's for sure! He's always saying "Daddy, come dance with me!"
Oh yeah.. about the shiner David, He got that a couple days ago when he was playing the piano and turned around and tripped falling into a table. It swelled up pretty good and gets darker each day. Perfect timing for the holidays with family coming over and plenty of cameras around :)
We miss you too Brittany!
Oh yeah! Liana, thanks for the package! We got it yesterday. We'll open the gifts on Christmas day, we can't wait! You are too cool!
Awesome! Looks like he has a little [b] spirit with the rapid fire!
What great compositional skills!!! Love the video, it put a smile on my face! What kid that loves his Dad doesnt want to be like Dad? Merry Christmas Mike to you and your family!!!
I loved the sound effects that he made while trying to hold the camera still. That's awesome. Pretty soon he might be better than his dad!
I've said it before and I'll say it again... That little man is a STUD!!! I think he'll be a quadruple threat!! :)
Merry Christmas Mike and Julie...and Aidan too!!
xoxo
great video! loved it...
wow..that really made me feel warm.. father and son moment. :)
Maybe the shiner helps with the shooting?! Remeber Larry Bird played better ball after breaking his finger because he had to think about the motion of his hand? That's it. Look out coffee table, here I come!
Awwwwww that was the cutest thing EVER! I'm going to see if my little toy poodle can do the same. :-)
Right on! I love it! Put a smile on my face and I needed it! Thanks!
I had to come back for a second helping today. He's so cute!
that was the greatest video!! seriously i was amazed at some of the shots he got!! AMAZING! i think framing them is a great idea...something for him to have in his room! well happy holidays to you and your fam :)
Mike- that is awesome!! I can't wait till my little guys are able to hold down the shutter like Aidan. Question for you.... what are you recording that photo session (dare I say, modeling session) with? Was Aidan shooting with the D2Xs?
Peace and Merry Christmas
I have a little photographer in my family my litle girl Triniti.
Shes on my blog.checker out.
Love your work Mike.
He is great! I have 3 years old and we were planning to give him kid's digital camera for Christmass. But they are out of stock everywhere. :-( Has to wait till January. Instead, his god's mother gave him film camera. I think we will start from basics... :-).
Happy Holidays, Mike!!! Thank you for sharing! You kid is adorable.
mike...you guys have the coolest family! many blessings and merry chirstmas brother...
Have a magical Christmas Mike and family!
xoxo daria
Oh my goodness! What a talent! I love the rapid fire!!! Hahaha! He is definitely addicted! I couldn't stop laughing, he is such a wonderful kid!!! I miss you guys soooo much!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I love doing the same thing with my 4-year old son. It's great to see the shots he comes up with. Makes me pause and think a bit about what I do when I'm shooting. I love the honesty of kids' art. My boy's biggest problem is keeping the heavy D200 steady. Maybe I should buy him a D50 for his birthday. Maybe we could get Nikon to sponsor a "first camera" program :)
that's awesome!!! teach'em young.
= )

Absolutely hilarious! You've got to post a few of those images on your blog, or auction them off for Thirst Relief or something! LOL!
Miss you and Julie! Hope to see you in TX!
