Oh Man...Mike, I hear ya! I'm from Vancouver BC, and I'm used to hitting the coastal mountains around the city about 2-3 times a week in the winter season. HOWEVER...having recenting gotten married and living in Illinois now...well, mountains are a little hard to come by. My ride gear is still sitting in Van cause I have absolutely no use for it here! After reading your recent post about your 4 day intensive, I want to participate in the next one you do...and then this post got me thinking..what if for your next "Mike Colon Experience"..you include an optional Snowboarding day! Just a thought.haha. Snowboarding & Photography= just about as good as it gets! Have an awesome week! God Bless. Nate.
This clip is amazing! The jumps are incredible - especially Shaun Whites! But, what I like most is the use of negative space in the cinematography - very inspirational. Thanks for sharing Mike!
dude, im with ya, Im in NYC right now, we got 8 inches of snow, and its flat here, ive been deaming of boarding in the streets, check out some pix from the blog, but alaska would be even better, nice post, i love it...
Yes, riding the mountain is good for the soul. I shoot skiing in the winters and weddings in the summers here in Big Sky, Montana. Thanks Mike for being such a leader in the community. Kene

Lets go the week after WPPI. I have some buddies in Haines, AK that could take us flying (if they aren't booked).
Look forward to seeing you at WPPI.
