Movie Clip from Osaka, Japan

video

Here's a clip of me in Osaka, Japan giving a live shoot demonstration before a lecture (sponsored by La-vie Album).  I'm shooting with my D3 and 200mm f2.0 AF-S VR.  It was a fun group!  Below is an image from this section of the shoot.  I want to give a special thanks to Mr. Kobayashi who did an awesome job at choosing the location and lining everything up for us!

Thanks! I will be posting more images soon... just had to get caught up and do some Christmas shopping. I'll be back to blogging more about Japan soon.

Uncleray... Your work looks sick in the new issue of GO... I can't wait for people to see it. I'm gonna post some spreads here soon.

Mike,

That frozen pane of the video is too funny. It was driving me nuts putting my finger on it, but it looks like you are sighting in a canon or something. That big lens without a monopod looks like a military weapon more than a camera. I love that shallow depth of field and 3D appearance though. Needless to say "mission accomplished".

I'll be curious to see the new Wedding Style, I just looked through the Brides and Bloom that you shot the cover for. Nice work. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
