Master Your Craft Seminar Update - New York
Hey everyone! This is Kenny Kim again blogging on this tour for MIke. We took some time off last week to spend some quality time with our family. We are now back on the road refreshed and pumped for the second half of our tour. Yesterday's seminar in the "City that Never Sleeps" was a blast! We met some wonderful photographers - from people just starting out to veterans in this league! Martin from Apple stopped by and gave us an awesome presentation on the new Aperture 2.0. So many of us got excited about this new release! Michelle & Becky from GraphiStudio were on site helping us make sure that the event ran smoothly. All of us were blown away by the turn out. We felt such positive energy from this group!
Our next stop: Hartford, CT. Be sure to visit Master Your Craft website to find out more information about this event. It's not too late to register! Here are some images and a slideshow to help recap the event.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for an incredible seminar. I walked in not expecting anything but to learn some new information but instead walked out feeling inspired and totally found a new way on how to look at photography. You 3 are totally amazing and I am honored to say that I "attended a Mike Colon seminar!" Thank you for being "REAL" and "NORMAL" and honest about sharing your own journeys on becoming a photographer. I really appreciate your true personalities as people! Thank you once again.
Shout out to Bruce Plotkin! Congratulations on winning those photoshop actions dude!
Thanks for a wonderful day, extremely informative. I particularly enjoyed the technical part devoted to the importance of getting the perfect exposure and the part that correct color balance plays in that, of which I was not previously aware. so thanks for sharing all of this. BTW, would love to get a jpg of the photo of me with the two of you after I won the Exposure2 software in hopes that I might put it on my own blog.
if it's not too much trouble. Thanks again. Bruce Plotkin
I just attending the Connecticut seminar, and it was *so* helpful! I was so excited to see Mike and Bob in person and hear their tips and ideas and see more of their work. What an experience! I also found the Aperture software info very helpful. In fact, I have to thank the man who explained that part in the seminar because it made me go out and buy my first Macbook Pro!! Also, I *had* to have Aperture 2! I'm so excited to use it because it's an amazing piece of software. I know I will make my money back on that very quickly!
Again, the seminar was great and it was more than I expected. I'm really happy I was able to spend the day around two of my very favorite photographers. I look forward to seeing them again in the future.
Oh, I raved about it on my blog! Come see!

The workshop was awesome! I learned so much and was able to take away lots of very applicable info which I was able to put in practice right away. Thank you for stopping in NY and come back soon! :)
Denise P. This seminar totally blew my away! I learned a great deal. It was a life-changing experience! And the other big deal was to be able to meet both Mike and Bob in the flesh. They are like Hollywood celebrities in the photography world to me. Thank you both and Kenny for all the insights you that provided for me -- me being a better photographer is thanks to you sharing your talent and secrets. Thank you so much!
Thank you all soooooo much for such an AWESOME workshop!!!! I'm so psyched about all the cool info and advice that I actually dug out my camera manual so I can start applying some of the great techinical info (you have no idea how huge this is!!!). I left the workshop feeling totally exhilarated about what I do and all the improvements I can make. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
And Mike, Zoe is a gem!!! Thank you so much for recommending her, she's just the designer I was looking for! And totally sweet and funny! I can't wait to see what she comes up with!
Thank you all again for sharing your wealth of knowledge and tremendous spirit.
