Master Your Craft Seminar Update - Chicago, IL

GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES!
Hello everyone, this is Kenny Kim reporting live from Master Your Craft Seminar. Not to be bias but I think this seminar has been by far the best one yet. With sold out crowd (100+), some even camped out 6:30am in the morning to the best seat in the house. Cameras were clicking everywhere and people were laughing, learning, networking, and sharing! I really encourage everyone that attended the seminar to leave comments on mine, Mike or Bob's blog to let not only them but everyone know how it was. We still have three cities left and we want everyone to get in on the action before it's too late!

Big thanks goes out to Maureen, Lisa & Rachel from GraphiStudio, Martin from Apple, and the staff at Calumet for coming out to make this event a huge success! Next stop: DALLAS TX. Click here to register

What i liked best: I loved having the mix of Mike & Bob. I found that i gravitated more toward Mike's style of photography and shooting, but I benefitted greatly from Bob's gear/technical advice. The mix of the two was wonderful! Also, I think Mike set the tone for the conference by telling us the order of his priorities. We can have the best technique, gear, packages, etc., but if we are a crappy person (closed, jealous or pessimistic), we will never succeed. The group in Chicago, literally, went from being a lot of separate photographers with our own individual agendas, to being a family of photographers, willing to listen, share & give. Their words & attitude may just change your whole way of looking at your trade. Thanks for getting out there. Peace, Pamela

Also, thanks so much for dinner! It was surreal that we were sitting at a table with Mike Colon!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed my many expressions in the front row!

It was a great day! I had a blast and learned so much. Mike and Bob your speaking style is so laid back I felt like I knew you by the end of the day. I can't wait to start working on lighting techniques shared by Bob and working to make my images just pop! The preview of Apeture 2 was awesome too. I had no idea it was that powerful. I am currently a PC user and that closed the deal on switching.

Thanks for taking your time to share your invaluable knowledge. I am glad to have made new friends and I look forward to seeing you both again soon!

Even though I'm an amatuer, I thought this was a great investment. I learned a ton and couldn't wait to get my camera out to try some things. I especially appreciated Bob's session on flash work since I just happen to have a pair of speedlites ... I also added a 70-200 IS f2.8 lens to my wishlist.

It was great fun. Thanks so much!
