Great article Mike. I remember reading some of these tips from you somewhere else before. After reading this, I'm reminded of just how much the way you shoot has influenced the way that I do. Not only on the technical side of things but in the interaction and attitude during the day. Thanks for your honest and heart-felt approach. God Bless.

Useful info of course coming from you... thanks for sharing. Your work was one of the three that made me decide I wanted to be a wedding photographer right at the moment I was exposed to it without even knowing your philosophy and what you explain here I felt all that.
Thanks !

Thank you for championing this & speaking out for a natural way of shooting. I feel so encouraged by reading this. My friend & I who started out doing weddings (with no contact to the outside world of wedding photographers) took plenty of 'courtesy clicks.' (smile) The client's comfort is always key! Cool article & way to bring it to the big guys!

Very cool information... It's what I strive to do in every one of my weddings. I definitely think the biggest point is to always remain positive and upbeat in the eyes of the bride and groom. Your confidence and words of praise will keep them from giving you bad pictures.
