Gracie Barra BJJ Blue Belt!

I am so excited to announce that I received my Blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu today.  I am honored to have received the promotion from professor Marcio Feitosa, a legend in BJJ.  I want to give a special thanks to all of my professors and training partners at Gracie Barra America for giving me a great start to a sport that I will enjoy for the rest of my life!  Only 6 or 7 more years of training for my black belt :)  I want to thank Kayron Gracie and professor Philipe "Furao" Della Monica for all of the private lessons and personal attention to my training.  I also want to thank Mike Pesh for all of the great images from today!

That is awesome Mike! In my years playing in the arts - (more filo arts but hey) I know the time and commitment needed to attain ANYthing worthwhile...

I've played with some BJJ guys, and I have to say - it is very street worthy. I'd not want to hit the ground.... once your down... your GONE...

Is there anything you don't do? I'm also curious exactly how this will tie into your photography career. I see some dangerous stuff going on.
